The Youth Rail Enthusiasts Association

I founded The Youth Rail Enthusiasts Association, a group for young railway enthusiasts, and opened it with my team on May 2nd 2010. In our first 8 months of operation we built up a member base of over 150, received 6,000,000 hits, and had prizes donated to our competition called Video Fest from train operators. We even got featured in Rail magazine. After being open for a year and a half we’d built up membership of over 250 and received more than 12,000,000 hits.

The main YREA website is run using the Word Press platform and the discussion forums are operated using MyBB. My jobs day to day include maintenance on the website and discussion forums, posting and moderating on the forums, organising competitions and events, supporting users and managing the other members of the YREA team.

Photography on Flickr

All of my best photographic content goes onto my Flickr account so it can easily be viewed. All content on my Flickr photostream remains copyright to me and you must ask permission by contacting me if you would like to use any of it. My content includes many types of public transport as well as other pictures of interest. View My Phoyostream.

KP Equine

I created the website for K P Equine from scratch. The brief was that the owner (my Dad) wanted a small one page website giving all of the very basic details about the company so that the ad could be used essentially as an online business card. View the Website.

Doctor Who for Newbies

I was asked to make a customised version of a free website template for a website run by one of my friends called Doctor Who for Newbies. I created a web design for DW4N in a blue colour scheme with a header image designed to represent time travel and space. I also created a navigation system to make finding the different articles hosted on the DW4N website easy. Visit DW4N.
